The San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists held a special vote regarding entering into a legal agreement with the San Antonio Area Foundation to move our scholarship application and payment process 100 percent online.
Voting ended at midnight on Wednesday, September 13th. The vote has been officially canvassed by our board secretary.
Out of 62 eligible voters, SAAHJ received 11 eligible ballots in favor of entering into the agreement with SAAF and zero votes against the measure.
Voter turnout was approximately 17.7 percent.
SAAHJ will begin negotiations with SAAF over the next few days.
