The San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists plans to award $40,000 in scholarships for the 2015-16 academic year.
Students pursuing careers in communications and journalism are encouraged to apply for the scholarships, up to $5,000 each. The application is available online.
Applicants must be attending college in San Antonio or have a permanent address in San Antonio or Bexar County.
The deadline to apply is Saturday, May 30.
Scholarships will be presented at the 17th Annual San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists Scholarships and Awards Gala July 10.
